Many ‘Stop Execution’ Poping up while running a bot. This is creating the bot to show down. This started recently.

This popup suggests you are doing some changes while debugging which is why it’s giving you this message.

In the latest version of the Studio, a feature is provided which allows debug time code update but in your version of Studio it’s not there.

I have not made any changes to the script. I am aware of this pop-up as i worked on this before. But if I start the execution all over again it is still having this issue.

I have restarted the system, closed the app and started the bot but nothing stopped this pop up.

I am wondering if it has to do with the settings of the system or privacy policies, as I saw this in some post.

Do we have a resolution for this? This has started happening once I moved to Studio 25.10

It also happens in 24.10 - it’s a bug in Studio

Very unfortunate. This would be a major hinderance for development and debugging. I have a feeling that the healing agent may be causing this.

Could be. I always assumed it’s related to them adding “make edits in debug mode” features (which was greatly needed) but then that backfiring.

Still encountering this issue in Studio 2025.10.13
More information on the source of the bug. Although I have not been 100% able to replicate the issue, it appears to happen when debugger brings focus to an activity or sequence to show it, it may have been collapsed/partially collapse and then studio detects the workflow has changed and gives the ‘Stop Execution’ popup.

Yes, happening in an enterprise version also… I am also encountering similar situation but for now select no and continuing with debugging

hi @TheAutomatorV2 , @jast1631 do you happen to recall if this happens on older projects that were first opened on this Studio version? Or any other particularities?

We’ve recently addressed this on 24.10 and 25.10 so want to understand what triggers this error in order for us to best tackle it.
