License Subscription got changed to Free from Community edition

Hi there,

All of sudden my Ui Path License subscription got changed from Community edition to Free and I’m unable change profile from StudioX to Studio

Can someone help me to fix this issue ASAP?

Could you please confirm this by a screenshot from the UiPath Cloud admin section?

Normally, the lack of StudioX for Community licenses comes from this change instead:

Could it be that you were actually using the Trial version instead of Community before?

Only the Trials get downgraded to the Free plan (because only the Free plan can be used for commercial use).

The Community license does not expire / convert to any other license.

@loginerror I’m not sure what happened earlier, what can I do now?

It depends a bit on your situation.

If you are in an enterprise context, you have two options because your trial is finished:

  • You can continue using StudioX with the Free license, even in an enterprise context.
  • Or you can contact our team for more information about purchasing a license.

If you are in a personal use context, then you can simply create a new Community license account to access Studio. Unfortunately, there is no conversion possible from a Free account to a Community account at this point.

@loginerror Can i delete organization with my account & create new organization for Community license?

I’m not sure about deleting, but you can navigate via https://cloud.uipath.com/portal_/register and you’ll see a button to create a new organization below your existing one.

@loginerror I have created new organization, after that I’m able to login into Studio with community license by selecting new Org.
