License does not include Studio

My company bought a UiPath - Flex - Automation Developer - Named User license, and after downloading and installing Studio, when I go to Add License Key and put in the key, it gives the error:
This license does not include Studio. If you think this is a mistake, please contact support.

Why could this be happening?

Try the following steps:

Open Assistant
Click Sign In
Log in with your company/Orchestrator account
Studio will automatically pick up the license assigned to your user

I suppose the license is not assigned to my user, is that necessary? Can’t I just use Studio without logging in and just activating it with the key?

You usually don’t need to add the licence key via the assistant, but it will help if you provide abit more details.

Are you using a cloud version of UiPath or the on prem one?

If its cloud, don’t add any licence key in the assistant. You just sign in with your user.
In the Cloud, you must then also assign the licence to your user, which can be done in the admin section.

Are you using cloud or on-prem?

When in Cloud you would by default just add the user to the Automation Developers group, and they would automatically be able to fetch a license.
