Studio Desktop is not available with your current license.--While opening the studio

Hi all,

  1. When i was trying to open UiPath Studio,I got the following error.
  2. Im using community edition.
  3. I had already signed in using my UiPath account and was connected to Orchestrator,But still couldnt proceed.
  4. Logged in to https://cloud.uipath.com.
  5. Navigate to admin–> Licenses.
  6. found my current organization is on free plan,but has only Express User license(25 available).
  7. No Automation developer license.

can anyone please help me to fix it.

That is your license issue, you need to get named automation developer license then only you can access the Studio otherwise you will be facing this error.
Ask your admin to change your license type if you are the admin try to change license type or allocate the license

This is likely the issue, the express user licence I believe is for simply running automations, not for building them.

As I understand it, the Free Plan is not including the capability to build new automations in Studio desktop, its maybe possible in Studio Web.

Could you please show screenshot from your licenses page(automation cloud → admin-> licenses)?

If you will notice, there will be a description on below each license mentioning what all products can be used with that license.

Per my understanding, express license cannot be used for studio, only studio web.

Your error is due to missing Automation Developer license in your organization. Express User license doesn’t support opening UiPath Studio.
