Hi all, I am unable to access studio using plus enterprise license

Hi all, I assigned plus license to a team member by inviting to organization,
he is unable to access studio , by default studioX is installed, In profile section also no option to switch any help?

thanks in advance.

HI @hari_kishore1,

Please make sure you have allocated the Automation Developer – Named User license type. If you have allocated the Citizen Developer – Named User license instead, StudioX will be installed by default.

Hello @hari_kishore1,

You can follow the below steps to allocate Automation Developer license.

Automation Cloud - Assigning user licenses

Regards,
Bharat

Hi @hari_kishore1

Please navigate to automation cloud->admin->licenses and share the screenshot.

Check if you have automation developer license available, if yes, please allocate same to be able to use studio.

Most likely, you have assigned one of the licenses marked in red eclipse. what you need for studio is the one marked in green rectangle as shown in below screenshot.

Hope this Helps.

I am unable to find named user. I am on standard trail. planning to buy enterprise will plus individual license has studio for developer?

thanks in advance.

Hello @hari_kishore1,

Navigate to UiPath Cloud and then navigate to admin section. Under, admin section navigate to organization and then in license. There you will find option for license allocation to user from there allocate Pro or Plus license to user and then check.

Bharat

@hari_kishore1

Use Pro, Pro has access to Studio

I did allocate plus to user but user is getting installed only studio X

Hello @hari_kishore1

Try allocating Pro and after allocation navigate to UiPath Studio and in settings → license and profile → try changing the profile to Studio.

Bharat

For me Automation developer -named user is 0 where can i buy that.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @hari_kishore1

Try to delete the entire Tenant and create a new tenant(Take backup if any processes are there) .
Or if not wored you have to create a fresh account with the different mail Id.

If helpful, mark as solution. Happy automation with UiPath

Hi @hari_kishore1

Based on your plan, you would need to allocate Pro license to the user to be able to use studio but in your case, I see that it’s already maxed out.

You have 2 Pro licenses and both are assigned.

If you need to provide studio capability to another user, you would have to remove that license from another user first and then allocate to the one you require.

In the same screen, you would see the section below named as “license allocation to users’.

Please expand the same and you will be able to see which user Pro license is assigned to currently and then remove allocation from that user.

Then you will see 1 Pro license Available under licenses which then can assigned to somebody else.

Hope this helps.

Please don’t do this.
Deleting the entire tenant is a crazy step to fix this and bad advice. Thats a nuclear option for a simple issue.

You are on the Standard plan for the new ‘Unified Pricing Model’, which has new names for the user types, so you are getting conflicting information as many are used to the flex plan names.

You have 2 Pro and 2 Plus users to allocate.

You will see in the descriptions, Plus does NOT give you a studio licence, it gives a StudioX licence.

You need to allocate Pro licences, and it seems you have already allocated both.
How many developer licences are you trying to allocate? If you want 3 users then sorry, you don’t have enough.

If you have 2, then see who else has the pro licences and revoke one.

Thank you for you Response. I am looking how can i buy Named Automation developer license ,

Thank you for you Assistance, I greatly appreciate that , I am looking for 2 Automation developer Named-user licenses , to develop and run attended automations.

The standard trial is now on the Unified plan. Those types of licences are not available. You have 2 pro licences, which are equivalent.

If you want Flex, you need to buy it, not do a trial. Flex will no longer be available to new customers shortly, so you should act fast. Otherwise you will be on unified with a different pricing model.

Hi @hari_kishore1

Pro licenses that you have are equivalent to automation named user. Please note that description below each license mentions the products/features accessible with same, pro does have studio and attended automation capability like automation named user one. Its just different name because you are on a different plan.

If you are looking to buy more of the same, have a look at below licensing to help you understand costs and features included in different license plans.

Below is the documentation for another licensing plan framework which have automation named user licenses if you are looking to specifically buy the ones named as such.

Hope this helps.
