The following error occurs when read Excel in EAS activity.
“Excel application scope : The server threw an exception. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010105 (RPC_E_SERVERFAULT))”
If there are more than two as follows method in a workbook, this error has occored.
Target method : =DATESTRING(NOW())
This is Uipath bug?
Our version is below.
UiPath:18.4.3
ExcelActivity:2.5.3
Please help us for resolve.

But this issue can reproduce when you run following process.It’s not random.
- Create Excel file
- Input “=DATESTRING(NOW())” to two cell(A1 and B1).
- Use UIPath and command “ExcelApplicationScope” to open Excel file.
- Error will occur absolutely.

Any chance you could attached a zip of the sample project which includes the sample Excel file?

Hi,
I am new with UiPath and I am also have the same issues above. Is there a solution already with this problem?
My current work around is to have my Excel opened during execution.
I am still using Excel 2013, could this be the root cause of this problem?
