Issue with UiPath Studio at Starter Course, build your first automation

hey everbody
i m working on the RPA starter module, i reached the part where i have to download UiPath studio to create my first automation
the exercise requires to download data and convert it
the exercise video then proceeds into asking me to open an excel activity from the provided resources and then a CSV read file activity
i proceed into doing so but when i run the program
an excel file opens with said data, only to turn gray then crash back to the UiPath studio where i have the two activities
in the exercise video he manages to make the program run leaving him with an excel file open with the data
i dont understand what i m doing wrong…
let me know if anybody has had a similar experience or can help me in figuring it out
