Issue with activation

Hello, I have an issue with activating the product.
In the licence is mentioned for Community edition up to two machines can be activated.
I installed initially in a VM to try, but now I would like to install in a normal PC and use the tool.

However I am getting this error after installing and trying to activate :


Activation failed with error: -4208
Error description: SOAP DB error
License status: Undetermined

Device ID: XoTjKUWQMWlP7G4utrZe
Computer: KRONOS
User Name: Admin

Please advise.

Hi,
I am also facing the same issue.
First I tried in a Windows 10 VM and it worked fine there. But as the VM was too slow, I moved to a normal PC.
However, on the PC, I got this error when trying to activate:

I got the same issue when trying to start up UIPath again today. Have only installed on PC, no VM or other machine.

When Clicking Help though I found this message:
“Important!
The Windows 10 16.07 Anniversary Update changes the device ID of the machine it is installed on. This leads to Studio and Robot licenses becoming corrupted. Similarly, other buggy major future updates or refreshing your Windows installation might cause the same issue. To fix this, your license needs to be reactivated. For more info, feel free to contact us.”

Does anyone know how to reactivate my licence?

Waiting for advice on what to do.

A little update:

Didn’t do anything but it has started working for me now. Probably something was fixed by the UIPath team on the backend.

All,

There was an internal issue on our licensing provider’s side but it is now fixed. Start the activation anew and follow the steps explained in the installer.
