Incompatibility of UiPath GUI framework with Borland Delphi 7

Hi,

I am trying to automate a process using a custom tool developed with Borland Delphi 7. Unfortunately, the GUI elements are not recognized by UiPath, although all other applications are.

Is there any way to check the compatibility between a tool developed with Borland Delphi 7 and UiPath? If not, can the Ui detection framework be changed and/or is there a way to make this application compatible with UiPath without re-coding it?

I will not be able to share the application for legal reasons.

May be the application is a JAVA based application. Just try installing JAVA extension available in the studio and check.Just a trial :slight_smile:

Hi. It is not a Java based application, hence this solution unfortunately doesn’t work :(.

@NikRPA:did you get any solution to automate the Delphi Applications if yes , Please let me know how can automate the Delphi based applications.
