Import and Export Queue-Items from one Orchestrator Version to another

I currently have the following problem.

We are currently working with two versions of the UiPath Orchestrator. One version for the development (Orchestrator-A) of our bots and one version where the finished bots run (Orchestrator-B).

Since the Orchestrator-B version is about to be updated, we want to move the processes to Orchestrator-A during the transition period so that they can continue running during the update. This is not a problem so far. However, there are still many items to be processed in the queues of the Orchestrator-B version, which we would like to copy to the queues of the Orchestrator-A version.

We know that UiPath provides an export and import function for this, but unfortunately, the following error always occurs after exporting the remaining Items of Queue-B (as a csv) and trying to upload this csv in Queue-A:

If anyone knows how we can fix this error or an alternative method to transfer the items from one queue to the other, we would be grateful for any help.

Hi @FlorianP

You said you are using two different versions, can you mention what are those versions? This is happening because Orchestrator A is an updated version and Orchestrator B is bit old version, then there are high chances that some of the extra fields need to be added to the parameters. This might be one reason where the error occurs. Can you check what extra data you need to add to that csv file? As I’m not able to see your input data you are passing.

Thank you for your prompt response.

Regarding the versions of Orchestrator B and A:

Orchestrator B: 2022.4.9
Orchestrator A: Unfortunately, I cannot see the version that this Orchestrator is running. In Orchestrator B, I could easily find it at the top right, but in this Orchestrator, this information is not displayed there, and I cannot find it in any usual places where I typically check the version of a specific program.

For your other question: “Can you check what extra data you need to add to that CSV file?”
How do I know what extra data I need to add? I simply exported the data from Orchestrator B:

Logged in
Selected the folder where my queue is located
Went to Queues
Clicked "More Actions"
Selected "View Transactions"
Exported and saved the CSV.

Just a quick update: I was able to find out the versions we are using in the Orchestrator.

Orchestrator B: 2022.4.9
Orchestrator A: 23.10.1

I would be thankful for any help with our problem.

Do a Sample Export from ORC B
compare it with an expert Sample from ORC B

So you can See the structure differences

Sometimes, the delimiter or the CSV Details we’re causing such issues and Not the structures
