I picked the correct excel file, but seams to be defaulting back to the project file…how do I change this so I can pick cell in excel file?

Same problem here

Looks like I corrected this as I can select value in excel - BUT file shows as a different name 20191115… Is this OK? When I run it it does not populate the value, so wondering if it is finding the correct file? Help please.

I had the same problem and I inverted the steps (remember the steps from the first robot):
1st step use of excel and 2nd step use of application DoubleUI.
This way it worked selecting the excel file.

I don’t know if your question got answered. (I’m new to using Forum and I’m having hard time keeping up with the conversations.)

If it hasn’t been answered, I used “Type Into” instead of “Click”. That worked for me.

In the ribbon at the top of the screen, I clicked the “Configure Notebook” from the menu under “Notebook” and replaced the old “Notebook File” with the correct one. That solved the issue.
