Http request POST method (json)

Hi there,

this is my first post in this forum.

We have a major problem with a special http request with POST method.
We have some attributes to transfer in JSON format.
- name: “actionID”
in: “query”
type: “string”
- name: “saveOnly”
in: “query”
type: “string”
I’m doing this within the parameters. But the other system always says that “Invalid JSON request. Reason : JSON text must start with ‘{’ or ‘[’ at 0 [character 1 line 1]”.

Do you have any idea how to see the request from UiPath to the other system or does anybody have an advice how to submit the attributes correctly in the query?

Thank you very much.

regards,
Marcus

Are you sure you should be using URL Parameters? If the remote system is expecting JSON typically it will be included in the BODY of the payload. Alternatively if it is indeed passed as a URL Parameter, it would be a single parameter that has the key=value where value is the JSON Object that has encoded/stringified.

If you can provide more details on what steps you are taking and the expected input from the remote system, someone can provide some guidance.
