How to use FTP package

Does anyone have any tips on how to use the UiPath.FTP.Activies package?

There is no documentation available AT ALL, which is very poor, and attempting to enumerate files on the remote server gives me the error message “Timed out waiting for the server to connect to the active data socket.”.

The problem is that I don’t know what sort of values are appropriate as arguments to some of the fields.

I am using the Enumerate Files task, with all the connection settings correct (test connection works fine). The other settings I have are:

  • Output.Files = DownloadedFiles (an empty datatable variable)

  • Remote Path = “” (empty string because I want the root directory).

I have also tried “/” and "" and “.” for Remote Path, but I get the same error every time.

Can anyone help? There are other questions on here that are similar, but they have no resolution.

Can anyone suggest me or share the code to enumerate files from FTP or what datatype should be selected for the output (Files) for the activity- Enumerate objects. It is not taking datatable as datatype.

It suggests to select System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<UiPath.FTP.FtpObjectInfo>. How to iterate to get file names.
