How to select the item in dropdown list Using recording

Hi

I want to capture recording of dropdown list when i did a recording for that it has done when robot run that workflow it does not select dropdown it directly write the value in dropdown.

I want first it should click on dropdown and then select a value from dropdown using recording

Please guide anyone

use the Mouse ‘Hover’ activity before clicking, it has helped me some times …
