How to install ChromeNativeMessaging.exe?

Hi,

I am getting this error in Chrome’s plugin -

“The native part of the extension is not configured correctly.
Re-install the extension from UiPath Studio.”

I have tried uninstalling and installing studio.

I have read through this post - Chrome Extension Troubleshooting (uipath.com)

The link asks to " Check if ChromeNativeMessaging.exe is running"

ChromeNativeMessaging.exe is not running for me. How do I run it?

Workaround to install Chrome extension on Chrome 73

You can do as below to solve this issue.

Navigate to Home > Tools > UiPath Extensions. Select Chrome > Install. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions . Enable the UiPath Web Automation extension if needed .
