How to convert legacy Custom packages to windows!

Hi

I’m facing issues in converting legacy projects to windows

Custom packages are not converting to windows.

Anyone help to find a way solve this problem.

Thanks,
Akhil

Welcome to the community

Custom packages are to be migrated separately they would mot be migrated as processes do

They needs to recreated using new activity pack

Here is a detailed explanation on how to migrate the custom packages

Cheers

Hello Akhil

Not all Legacy packages are available as Windows packages.
Often you can find alternative packages or sometimes maybe just code your way out

As already mentioned above when using 3rd-Party Packages it is recommended to do some formals checks before executing the conversion from Legacy to windows. Regarding to this point we can have ~3 tracks

  • Package is available for windows
  • Package can be made available for windows (conversion, worked by the author)
  • Package can be replaced by alternates e.g. alternate packages, workarounds, code statements.

To get some more guidance feel free to checkout our InfoSet resource related to Leagcy to Windows migrations

Thanks Anil, I will refer the video
