How to access to subfolder of inbox

Dear all,

I have a subfolder named Stefan.

I would like to save the mail attachment inside the “Stefan” folder.

I would like to get the attachment whereby the mail subject contains U mobile.

I have try the following:-

  1. “Inbox\Stefan”
  2. "Inbox" + “Stefan”

Both shows the message (“The specific folder does not exist”)

Kindly advise.

Thank you.

@eelin

Sorry I didn’t get you.

Do you want to save the mail attachment in your PC right ?

@eelin
I assume that you want to handle folders from email boxes.
Can you please tell us which activities you are using for this
the folder name/path should be crosschecked e.g. in Outlook Folder>Folder Properties - Location
I had some cases where the display name differed from the folder name - I identified with check from above

Dear all,

Thanks for the feedback.

Background:

  1. Every month, i will receive the Umobile invoice from my colleague.
  2. I have set the email rules, whenever the email from my colleague will goes into the inbox’s subfolder named Stefan.
  3. So, now i want to get the outlook mail message from that subfolder under a condition whereby the mail subject contains Umobile.
  4. If the condition meets, then the attachment will be saved into a folder called attachment.

Now i am facing issue on how to get the outlook mail message from Stefan folder. (“The specific folder does not exists”)

Kindly advise me.

Thank you.

Hi,

You just need to provide “Inbox\Stefan” in MailFolder make sure the spelling is correct and its case sensitive

can you send screenshot of your mail folder?

You just need to use the name of the subfolder, so for your case you should use Stefan

Had the same problem, origin seems to be somewhere at Outlook. Problem was present when I tried to access subfolder at other than main mailbox (till then I didn’t have any subfolders at main mailbox). Solution:
1st Create some subfolders at main mailbox
2nd Access them through UiPath actions

then I was miraculously able to access subfolders on other mailboxes. Please let me know if this strange solution works

I’ve got the same problem. I have:

  • Inbox
    • subFolder1
    • subFolder2

and if I put de sub folder name in ‘nameFolder’ parameter of get Exchange mail message activiy appear the error “Folder doesn’t exist”

I’ve also tried 'Inbox\subFolder1" and doesn’t work for me
