Depends on how you want to learn, what you want to learn and if you have a programming background.

If you have a programming background and you choose the learn the basics by yourself, then maybe a few working days. A few more days or even weeks to learn the advanced stuff.

If you don’t have a programming background then it could take considerably longer.

I haven’t done the UiPath academy training yet (I learned it by myself using the studio and googling things when I got stuck) but I’ve been using the studio for about 2 months and also came from a programming background. I would consider myself to be at an intermediate level at this moment in time. I am about to go through the training to see if I missed anything and hopefully learn more on the advanced stuff.

There are so many variables to consider and each person will learn it at a different pace, however I would say it’s much easier to learn than programming itself, as it has a bunch of useful tools and GUI elements accompanied by these active forums and a large amount of training material.

Download the Studio and play around with it for a few hours. If you’re still struggling, then go try the academy.

This question just made me :rofl:

RPA is new to everyone even programmers. If you are fast learner you can pick it up quick if you know the basics of logic and variable usage.

All I can say is have someone near you that can show you stuff so you learn better, cause if you don’t, prepare for many long hours of getting NOWHERE haha and headaches!

As Clayton said RPA is new even for experienced programmers hahaha.

Visiting Uipath Forum is a good way to learn fast. Here we have awesome Uipath Developers that are glad to help you with any question that you may have. It’s like “Search and Learn” haha :slight_smile:

Thanks guys - totally on point, it depends on each person’s time, dedication, learning skills and technical background. However, we do estimate a total of ~40 hours to complete the Foundation course, ~4-5 hours for the Orchestrator module. We also have biweekly Q&A sessions so if you find yourself struggling you can always join the instructor lead session (Wednesdays at 3PM EEST) and clarify those aspects. The Community forum is also a great support for all levels from easy to more advanced stuff.

Last week I started to learn UiPath myself. I rembere that I read your post while I was searching to find the best way to learn.
