How can I Handle elements/fields of a web-page which changes positions on the screen

Hello all,

I tried using ‘Select Relative Element’ of UI Explorer and chose and other common attributes.However, it shows an error when I tried to ‘Validate Selector’.
Is there better way or what is the right way of selecting attributes for a selector which change there position and IDs when some activity is performed on them.

Have you looked into Anchor Base

-A container that searches for a UI element by using other UI elements as anchors. This should be used when a reliable selector is not available.

Hi, I’ve played around with this activity (UiPath.Core.Activities.AnchorBase) and can’t seem to figure out what’s its purpose and/or use techniques. The idea seems simple and useful - setup an anchor for other relative activities, but the practical part seem to escape me. Is there a demo example with it somewhere that I couldn’t find? Hello there! new to UI Path. I am unable to find the relative element selector on the UI Explorer window. I am using the community edition. Please see attachment. I have gone through the tutorial however I do not have that button in UI Explorer! Thanks in advance
