GIT branches comparison

New Feature idea: When merging branches using GIT source control we can compare branches .xaml code. However it would be much more useful if we could compare them using normal UiPath view instead of .xaml code.

There is some comparison features built into Studio and Orchestrator. Please see if these features are what you are looking for, and if not I would expand on your feature requests with more specifics.

Like git, is there versioning mechanism to compare between different published code?

Because the projects are using XAML which is both made of of content and meta data it can be difficult to compare these files. Studio has built in Workflow / Project File compare capabilities, but this depends on you looking at local copy of the files and/or to version control such as Git. In Orchestrator you can browser the Tenant / Host Packages and click on the Explore Package button. I mean upgrading “Workflow Diff” functionality, so it would present the workflows as normally seen in UiPath instead of .xaml code itself. Something like in the picture below:

Hi, is there any progress on this?
It would be very useful to be able to compare versions between two branches (e.g. a “feature” branch and a “master” or “develop” branch).
