Fail to execute CTRL_R

Hi all,

I have an error white sending control key “CTRL_R” as seen in the attached image.
Studio ver.2023.10.2
UiPath Terminal Activities ver. 2.7.2
IBM PComm ver 14
tried to send PA1,2,3 before as suggested, no good…
any idea?

Welcome to UiPath

To use the Send Hotkey activity in UiPath, drag the activity into your workflow and use Indicate on Screen to select the terminal window. In the Key property, enter r, and in the Modifiers property, select Ctrl. This will send the Ctrl + R combination to the terminal.

Thanks, but to send Hotkey I must use “use application/browser”, that I prefer to avoid, the CTRL_ is in the control key list, just like Transmit, esc, clear etc.

any other idea?

Try this.

In the Terminal Send Key activity, specify the key sequence as “[Ctrl+R]” instead of just “Ctrl_R”. Additionally, ensure the terminal session is focused by using the Activate or Attach Window activity before sending the key.

Try to use classic send hotkey activity it wont ask use application/browser activity.
