Extracting steps as activities in Task capture

Hi,
can you tell me if it’s possible to extract a step out of a recorded process as an activity in the main flow?

I’m trying to extract some of the steps visible on the side of the screen as main activities in the workflow.

Hi @anca.wlizlo1!

If I understand you correctly, you need to convert the steps from Task Capture document into the activities in Studio? In that case, you can use the Export to UiPath Studio option, which will generate a .xaml file of the created process. It can be opened in UiPath Studio, where you’ll see the main Flowchart activity, which includes sequences and steps from TC converted into UiPath activities based on their recording type - Click, Hotkey, Type Into.

Hi Anna,

Thanks for taking the time to answer. I actually need to extract some sub-steps as main steps in the workflow. For example, Task Capture captures 1 step with 2 sub-steps and I need to extract one of the sub-steps as a main activity.
