How to Extract Logs from Task Mining Recorder?
Try the steps recommended in the Recording Application Logs documentation and if failed to find the logs from the location specified, then gather the logs by following below steps.
Steps to Perform:
- Open the Task Mining Application on the machine by searching “Task Mining” in the Start menu or navigating to the application in the file explorer
- If unable to access the application that way, access via clicking “capture trace” in a new ATM project or “start recording” in an existing ATM project. For UTM, always access the MSI via the email invitation to the project
- Click "Sign in" and authenticate yourself with your automation cloud information
- Post authenticating yourself, navigate back to the recorder. Select any tenant that is accessible to move forward and click “Continue”
- Then click on the icon and click on “Preferences” in the drop down
- The preferences will open in another window. Click on “Help” and then Click on “Save Logs”. This will open a file explorer window to allow to save the zipped file of the logs somewhere
- Attach the above Zip file to the support ticket.
