Excel save as type

Hi Folks! I have odd behavior when doing a save as in excel. Here are the steps and the behavior:

  1. open a CSV file in excel
  2. click the file menu
  3. click save as
  4. dialog box pops up
  5. successfully select “Excel Workbook (*.xlsx)” as the type
  6. enters the file name
  7. click save

Issue: When it goes to save the file Excel keeps the new file name but then changes the type back top CSV!

This does not happen when I step through this process manually. Why would the robot behave differently?
