Excel Add-In - Failed to Connect

Hello,
I am a new UiPath user following along with the “Build your First Process with Studio” Academy course. When attempting to specify an excel cell range by selecting the “Indicate in Excel” option, I receive an error message stating Studio failed to connect to the UiPath Excel Add-In.

I have followed all troubleshooting steps in the Studio documentation, including manually installing the add-in.

I have also ran the Microsoft Office repair tool:

Out of ideas and would appreciate any help!

Check with your security team to see if add-ins are being blocked by policy.

Thanks for the response. I’ve confirmed there are no policies blocking excel add-ins. And I can see it installed under Excel → Options → Add-ins.
