Excel access by multiple

Hi All,

I have single excel at common location and that are used by multiple bot and user. I don’t want any data lose so how should proceed in this.

Can you tell what are things are doing the excel. Without know that we can’t say thing.

In this moment you can take the Back up for the excel (May be you can Copy the excel file before processing). So it will not get effected by any data.

When you say a common location. Do you mean SharePoint ?

If yes then you can use office365 activities. Where you have check in check out options . Can try playing on them. It also allows Excel activities without downloading

Used how? They’re just reading it, or also writing to it?

If they’re just reading it, the automation can make a local copy and then read it.

If they’re all trying to write to it at the same time, you can’t do that.
