Error while connecting to Attachmate Extra terminal emulator

Hi All,
I was trying to connect to Attachmate Extra terminal, but getting erroe as below screenshot.

please guide me on this.

I came across the same scenario, and ultimately I use open application activity and then did complete my workflow with attaching windows.

Hi SagarSB,
Not sure which version of Attachmate Extra you have.

Try these 5 possible approaches though:

If none of them works, see if something in your system prevents you from attaching to COM interfaces or external DLLs (Local Group Policies, ANtivirus, etc)

Hi SagarSB,

I am not really sure what interferes with the connection (based on session connection method, it is COM interface attach or attaching through the EHLL Dynamic Link Library) - it can be that there are security rules (antivirus, Group Policies) that are not allowing UiPath processes to do that and it would be hard for me to check those remotely.

As a workaround, please try the agnostic approach as described in the PDF attached here: Connection To BOSaNOVA - #2 by cornel
it has to do with regular UI Automation so the type and nature of Terminal Application is not relevant for as long as it is a native Windows app.
