Attachmate Extra connection doesn't work

Whenever I attempt to create a terminal session using Attachmate Extra I get the following error:

There was an error connecting to terminal. Error code: InvalidConnectionData

However the session profile I provided works without flaw via Attachmate Extra. This session file is associated with a session short name that was explain in this answer from a similar question.

I have followed the minimal instructions found in this KB article.

Since I couldn’t find anywhere in this application to configure options, I ended up creating a junction from C:\Program Files (x86)\E!PC, to C:\Program Files (x86)\Attachmate\EXTRA! since that is where UiPath believes is the default location of pcshll32.dll is located.

Do you have an older version of Attachmate? From my knowledge UiPath does not work with versions older than 2015. Sorry I can’t help more.

It seems this is the issue. We are on a very old version of Attachmate, thank you for the help!

I had this issue with the edp file while using from Desktop. I moved to below location and it worked for me.

C:\Users\**username**\Documents\Attachmate\EXTRA!\sessions
