The trigger is Active, but it is showing disconnected, This is confusing because the trigger is enabled and not showing any error.
Hi @kritios,
Disconnected is not an error. it simply means the trigger is configured only in Orchestrator.
Since the trigger is Active and the connection is valid, it will still fire and run the job manually.
Hi @kritios
Trigger showing Active but Disconnected usually means a temporary sync issue with the robot. As long as the trigger is active and the robot connection is valid, it will still run at the scheduled time or manually. No action is needed unless the robot stays offline.
Disconnected” for an active trigger doesn’t necessarily block execution. The trigger will still fire if the robot is connected when it runs. You can also start the job manually via Orchestrator or UiPath Assistant.
This status can be confusing: “Active” means the trigger is ready, “Disconnected” is just a temporary display state. The job will still run as expected if the robot is online. Refresh Orchestrator or check the robot connection to clear the status
If this solution works for you please mark as solved and if u still face issue please let us know
Thanks
There are two types of event triggers connected and disconnected
Connected triggers are the ones which are created in studio directly while creating the process, when you publish a trigger is automatically created and shows connected
Disconnected triggers are the ones which are created in orchestrator directly and not in the studio
cheers
Hi @kritios
This is expected behavior.
Active only means the trigger is enabled. Disconnected does not mean there’s an issue.
For event-based triggers (Outlook, Queue, etc.), Orchestrator shows Disconnected when there’s no active event or running job. As soon as a matching event occurs (mail arrives, queue item added, scheduled time hits), the trigger connects and starts the job automatically.
If jobs are triggering correctly, there’s nothing to fix. Just check that the robot is online and licensed.
