First time encountering this issue on tenant
Tried creating both connected and disconnected triggers and they are not starting the job
Using O365 trigger upon email receiving
Anyone encountered this issue/knows what the reason might be?

Sometimes its taking around an hour for the trigger to work.
if its disconnected trigger then you can click on 3 dots beside it and check the view traces , it would show if it triggered polling for every 5 minutes or no..if the polling did not trigger wait for an hour or so and check again..once polling starts the trigger would work
