Elp Needed: Issue with Passing String to Keyboard Shortcuts Activity in UiPath

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working with UiPath and facing an issue with the ‘Keyboard Shortcuts’ activity. According to the official documentation, it should be possible to pass a string variable to a certain field within this activity. However, I’m encountering an error that I can’t seem to resolve.

Every time I attempt to use the ‘Keyboard Shortcuts’ activity to pass the string “aaa” into this field, I receive an error message stating, “Invalid or empty shortcut sequence”. I’ve attached two screenshots below to provide a clearer picture of the situation.

I’m trying to understand whether this is a mistake on my part or if passing a string in this manner is not supported by UiPath. Any insights or suggestions on how to address this issue would be greatly appreciated!

But somehow I am getting an error message, stating " Invalid or empty shortcut sequence".

Am I making some mistake, or this ist not possible at all?

If you want to send a string variable use Type Into or Set Text.
