Why didn't Edge extension work for specific accounts in the robot machine.?
Issue description:
After installing the Edge extension, it works for other users but not for specific users even though we have installed it for all accounts, got error message "cannot communicate with the browser, please check the UiPath Extension", as we checked, ChromeNativeMessage.exe is not running.
Root Cause:
We see the error in the Chrome debug view logs:
18212:2564:0826/155309.067:VERBOSE1:content_verifier.cc(667)] VerifyFailed ndmegdjihnhfmljjoaiimbipfhodnbgf reason:1 error in the debug view logs for edge extension uipath.
The error encountered is to be related to the Microsoft Edge extension for UiPath and involves a content verification failure.

- Content verification: Edge uses a content verification system to ensure that extensions installed in the browser are not tampered with. It checks the integrity of files such as manifests, scripts, and resources.

Resolution:
This issue can be solved by deleting the profile file of the user under C:\users\accountname, then login with the error accounts to rebuild it.
