Edge Chromium extension stopped working

Hi,
We’ve had a robot running in production (on VM) for over a month without any issues. Today, it failed with the error message “Cannot communicate with the browser, please check the UiPath extension”. When I tried the process in dev I got the same message and found that Edge Chromium extension no longer existed under edge://extensions. I tried to install it using Extension for Microsoft Edge but the extension is still not available. How do I resolve this?

  • Studio version: 20.4.3 (enterprise)
  • Chromium Edge version: 88.0.705.63

Hi @sophievc,
Please check if edge is not opening in different profile. Extension installed on one profile will not work with other one.
Please also check if there was any Edge update recently.
