Does Document understanding supports .xlsx & .msg or .docs

I want to understand whether Document understanding supports .xlsx & .msg or .docs files or just pdf & image files are supported ?

Hi!

Yes, it does support, but it is much better to process the data using the packages intended for this documents (Mail, Word, Excel) . Anyway, check the example below:

Thanks for your inputs on my query.

I was actually looking for feeding excel & mails to Document Understanding directly like we do for jpeg & pdf files.

But it seems more logical to go with Excel & Outlook activities for those file types instead of Document Understanding activities.
