As Validation Station is part of Document Understanding, I have these questions:
Is use of Document Understanding included and can be used within “RPA Developer – Named User” (or new name “Automation Developer – Named User”) license or there is any additional license required?
Is UiPath Orchestrator required for Document Understanding? If yes, does “RPA Developer – Named User Cloud Orchestrated” licence also include use of Document Understanding in Cloud Orchestrator or some other license is required?
Are there any limitations of use of Document Understanding and which?
It is fine to have attended bot to run DU process and only restriction is we can just connect but won’t be able to run the bot from orchestrator

Yes orchestrator is required and is recommended for DU
The first step in implementing Document Understanding Solutions is determining whether the new purchase of licenses may be required and whether your organization would like to host the process on-prem for security purposes or on the Cloud to save storage and infrastructure bandwidth. Once the COE or IT has decided where to host the platform, the DU process can begin.
The reason is we might add some upgrades and train the model we have developed with DU and it demands Orchestrator
It would require validation center, ml skill, api key for both ML and form based extractor in DU
As a part of restriction earlier it was not possible to run action center process using attended bot(using UiPath assistant). This process was only meant to be used from orchestrator in an unattended mode.
However, you could still do validations as a developer directly running from studio but that’s not what attended bot would do.
Just recently, UiPath has announced this feature availability in 2021.10 stable release version.
This means now it would be possible to run action center processes even from assistant in an attended mode

We would like to start with minimum possible configuration.
