Do we need to install Excel to use office365 excel activities on the machine?
My guess is its not mandatory, could anyone please confirm on this?

You need to have office 365 to use excel activities in UiPath like excel application scope , excel process scope etc

Office 365 Excel activities can only be used if the Microsoft Excel application is installed on your machine.

If you mean the Excel activities under this package Activities - Microsoft Office 365 Scope - https://docs.uipath.com/, then Excel installation is not required.
