Excel Office 365 Error - "Make sure excel is installed"

My workplace recently upgraded to office 365 and excel 2016 was removed from my machine. When I try to use the excel application scope in UiPath Studio Enterprise Edition 2018.2.0 I get the following error:

“message”: “Excel Application Scope : Error opening workbook. Make sure Excel is installed.”

Is UiPath compatible with Office 365 or Excel Office 365?

Yes, UiPath is compatible with the latest MS Office. However, the Excel Application scope will not run without Excel being installed on the system.

However, you can use the workbook activities that will work without it:

Hi,

I was working with macro enabled file, which requires Excel application scope.
but we upgraded to O365.
How to work with macro file now ?
