Database Source Window is getting disappeared

Hi Team,

When we are trying to build the connection string #ConnectToDatabase, in the “Choose source wizard” is getting disappeared when we switch between the application. Post that not able to do any action in the Studio, in order to work have to kill the studio from the “Task Manager”. So requesting you to check on this from your end.

Indeed, there is an issue with how the windows of the wizard link to each other (one can get lost behind the Studio).

We will look into fixing it, but in the meantime, there are some simple workarounds:

  1. Instead of selecting Studio from the taskbar, minimize the window that you have brought in front.
  • or -
  1. Use Alt+Tab / Win+Tab to bring the child window in front.

Hi @loginerror, the above steps which you have mentioned didn’t resolved the issue. So I have copied my server name before opening that window, currently Iam using this as a work around.
