It is finally out: you can now easily extract data from various Documents using predefined or custom Extractor ML Models, on Studio Web - no need to have anything installed locally anymore, all magic happening in the browser!
With this release, we’re introducing the Extract Document Data Activity - an activity which provides extraction capabilities using either the predefined ML Models you are already used to or custom Forms AI Models, configured in the Document Understanding App.
Activity Overview
The Extract Document Data Activity allows you to process documents with minium configuration. It requires 3 inputs:

file - to be processed, to have the data extracted from

project - referring to either a Predefined Project or a custom one, configured in the Document Understanding App; once a project is selected, the last field is rendered

extractor - referring an extraction algorithm based on an ML Model - either pre-trained, out of the box, or custom trained via Forms AI
