Hey, thought I would finally post something about this.
I have encountered a bug several times before when either creating an argument or variable from the window that pops up after clicking “Import Arguments” in an Invoke Workflow activity.
If I click “Create Argument” in the window, often the Argument will not be able to be configured within the Arguments panel of the workflow itself. I won’t be able to rename it or delete it. Sometimes it does not show up there at all.
The same is true for creating a variable using Ctrl + K from within the corresponding field of the window. The variable may appear in the Variables Panel, but I won’t be able to delete it or type in a default value.
Again, this is something that doesn’t happen 100% of the time but often enough that I now avoid creating any arguments or variables from within the Import Arguments window, and I have told my colleagues to do the same.
