Click activity on Chrome

Hey everyone I have a quick question regarding Google Chrome and Using the Click Activitiy. Im working on a CRM webpage and was wondering when I click the drop down to select and certain field everything gets highlighted. I know sending hot keys is a way to fix it but Im asking if there is another way?

Have you tried Select Item Activity? If not please give it a try
