Hi, I have installed and enabled UiPath extension for Chrome. Still, getting error ‘cant communicate with the browser, please check uipath extension’.

I recommend to use IE if your application supports. IE does not required any extension.
Google chrome extension always goes into problems when you get google chrome security updates. It’s my experience… just thought to share with you.

try going to tools. then click on the chrome icon

Use this link for update the UiPath extension in your chrome (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/uipath-web-automation/dkgencfabioofgdmhhjljpkbbchbikbh ).
Note: chrome version more than 72v, UiPath Extension will not work. use the above link to update the extension.

It is already installed and enabled.
My Chrome version is v79. Till the previous version it was working. Please suggest some alternative.

@Saikat_Chowdhury I remembered that i have the same problem because i downloaded a different extension . I think you added a different one.
Please check if you have chrome Native Message Host in your task manager.
