Choosing the Right Connector for Automating Outlook and SharePoint

Hi Team,

I am working on automating Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint, and we are considering using integration services. Within the integration services connectors, I see a Microsoft 365 connector as well as separate connectors for Outlook and SharePoint. Would it be better to use the Microsoft 365 connector instead of adding the individual connectors separately, or is there a difference between them?

Hi @Rahul_Rajendran

Follow the below link. I hope your issue will resolve.

@Rahul_Rajendran,

The Microsoft 365 connector gives you access to the whole Microsoft 365 suite whereas Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint connectors are specifically for these products.

I would advise to use limited scope connectors would be better choice instead of giving blanket access to everything on board event if it’s not required.

If your requirement satisfies with the highlighted part in the above image, go with the Microsoft 365 connector else go with the individual connectors.
