Certification Business Analyst

Description

So proud of this certification which is an important step in my journey toward professional growth in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and business analysis. It confirms the critical role I can play in the automation lifecycle (implementation methodology, RPA fundamentals, the UiPath platform, process discovery, and AI solutions), bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation.

Congrats @clarisse, that’s really a great accomplishment for solidifying the role in the automation lifecycle! I’m currently looking into this certification myself and was wondering if you could share any tips on how to prepare for it? Did you use the UiPath academy courses, or were there other resources you found helpful?

Also, how tricky was the exam? I’ve got some experience with RPA tools and process discovery but want to make sure I cover all the bases, especially the AI solutions part. Would love to hear about any specific areas you think are crucial to focus on.

Hi @Andrew_Nixon, I’d recommend checking out the academy courses, they cover the key concepts, have structured modules and provide solid theoretical knowledge about RPA and process discovery, which you already have some experience in, so it should be a good refresher. Beyond the academy, I suggest you make use of the CertBoosters practice test as it will help you identify areas where you might need to dig deeper. It’s especially useful for getting familiar with the type of questions you’ll face and how they’re phrased.

Focus on how AI integrates with RPA (like AI Center, Document Understanding, etc.), you don’t need to be an AI expert, just know how it enhances automation. The exam can be a bit challenging, but it’s definitely manageable if you prepare well. The questions can sometimes test your understanding of concepts rather than just facts, so focus on how different RPA tools and methodologies tie together in a business context. Good luck!

Hello Andrew,
Thanks for this feedback,
For the tips, i would recommand to really follow the courses on the academy : the business analyst and to have a focus especially the one with all the steps of the approach, the person that must participate in each step.
There are some questions that were quite easy for me and linked with the ReFramework (behavior in case of technical or functional error for example), choose the type of automation depending on the complexity and value (quick wins, low-hanging fruit…) but there were also some difficult questions for me because i don’t use those tools regarding Discovery tool (insights, process/task mining - type of merge for example,…)
