Can't seem to edit titles and descriptions

Hello There,

I was trying to use the UiPath explorer expert and i have the following issues:

  1. cannot edit/add titles or descriptions
  2. unable to type using the controls (eg: type/textbox option in the toolbar)

any idea why this happens?

Hi Hara!

I’m afraid that you are using the older version of the application. The first issue about the disabled edit of step’s title/description is fixed in the latest patch release - 2019.10.2, so you had better download it and reinstall the app. Also, it would be great if you could provide a more precise description of the second issue, so our QA team could reproduce this bug.

I will re-download the software and test if it works. Here is a more detailed description of the 2nd problem.

in the “Capture Process” option, after I capture the process, I wanted to annotate the screenshots. when I tried to use/drag the “Text” option, a square appears, but I couldn’t type anything inside the box … attached is the screenshot for reference

Thank you for the clarification of the second issue! I’ve investigated the reason for it and it appeared to be the same as for the first bug with title/description edit, so it’s fixed in the latest app version as well.
