Cannot record Java application

I am trying to use basic automations on a Java pplications that I open from a link within a browser. I am able to sign in (browser based), and when the Java application opens, I am able to shift focus to that application window.

However, when trying to replicate any user action (click, type into, set text), no matter how I do it, nothing happens. When using recorders or UI Explorer, all I can select is the entire Java application window - I am NOT able to select individual user interface elements.

I have installede the Java extensions in UI Path Studio, but it doesn’t help much.

In UiExplorer, I am able to see the Java application and its control stree structure.

Any ideas or experiences??

Is java extension installed properly? Seems it is not. You can check this article on how to verify java extension installed properly.
