Browser extension not configured correctly - VM

Hi all

I’ve started moving a process over to the Orchestrator to run on the VM. I’ve fallen at the first hurdle and the error on the Orchestrator was that it cannot communicate with the browser. I have the Edge extension installed, when looking at this on the browser I saw this:

As this is the VM, Studio isn’t installed. How would I fix this?

I’ve found this topic in another post on the forum ( Open Browser and Navigate to image file: Cannot communicate with the browser, please check the UiPath extension - Help / Studio - UiPath Community Forum), however this was from 2021 and the link which solves it no longer works and talks about Chrome rather than Edge

Hi @Short

Go to that browser (Chrome\Edge) → Hit on three dots on the top right side → Click on Extensions → Click on Manage Extensions → Search for UiPath → Install it again.

After installing UiPath Extension in browser.

Open UiPath Studio → Go to Home foreground → Click on Tools → Click on UiPath Extensions → Check the browser extension is installed or not in studio
