Use Case Description

Ms. B. Udaya Sri owns a DTP Center shop located in Kancheepuram named Kamatchi DTP Center, which is equipped with 10 systems and employs 10 staff members. Each day, the shop caters to numerous customers seeking services such as job typing, photocopying, design, internet usage, and other document-related tasks. By the end of the day, each of the 10 systems accumulates a significant number of files in the Desktop, Documents, and Downloads folders, with file types including .docx, .pptx, .rar, .gif, .jpg, .png, .psd, .cdr, .p65, and more. Ms. Udaya Sri finds it challenging to organize these documents in a manner that allows for easy reuse and modifications upon customer request. Manually copying and pasting the files into a Google Drive by her employees is both tedious and time-consuming. To address this, an RPA bot using UiPath can be developed. This bot will run as a background process every day at 10:00 PM, automating the task of moving documents into Google Drive. The bot will organize the files in a structured manner, creating folders based on the current date and file type. This automation will streamline the organization process, ensure proper file management, and save considerable time and effort for Ms. Udaya Sri and her employees.
