Adobe reader file error

Hello,

I have an automation project goes to a website and saves a Adobe reader file on my desktop.

When trying to open the file I get Adobe Reader error “There was an error opening this document. This file is already open or in use by another application”

sequence of saving activities:

send hot key - Control P
click button - print
type into - file name
Click button - Save

Any help finding a solution would be greatly appreciated.

Is PDF Reader installed in that machine ?

Hi

Before opening the file use a KILL PROCESS activity and mention the ProcessName property as “ACROBAT”
Or mention as “AcroRd32”

And then try opening the file

thanks I added this.

I just realized the save is sitting in print spooler for a few minutes because its a large file.
