A task was cancelled while connecting Robot to Orchestrator

Hi Team,

While connecting the Robot to Orchestrator-“A task was cancelled” error appears

I have tried all the solution related to this post:

Configuring the proxy settings and restarting the services. But none worked

I am using Enterprise Edition 2019.4.4

Thanks
Teenu

Hope stopping the robot service in task manager and trying to connect will solve this…
Kindly correct me if I m wrong
Cheers @Teenu

No, I tried stopping the Robot service and restarting again .But it didn’t resolve the issue

Thanks
Teenu

Fine
Kindly have a look on this

This one as well @Teenu

Cheers @Teenu

I have already tried all the solutions listed above

I can access the Robot machine only using VPN.

So disconnecting from VPN ,will not solve my issue

Does that orchestrator have other machine connected to it
@Teenu

No, only one machine is connected

Kindly delete the robot and machine created (current one) and create a new machine and robot and try to connect them again from your machine
Hope that would work
@Teenu

Sure, I will try it and let you know

Fine
Kindly contact the technical support team

As it is a enterprise edition we should not take this to worse…they could help us in a right mode
Cheers @Teenu

can you provide the screenshot of the error ?

Hi guys, when this happens, could you please go to the event viewer and share the errors found there?

Hello @Teenu
Is your connection problem resolved? Let me know how. I am facing the same issue

Hello @izoaib,

This was due to firewall issue on the VDI

Thanks,
Teenu

hi there! I’m facing the exact same issue and I’m trying several solutions:

for instance trying to stop robot services in task manager makes impossible to modify fileds in Robot-Orchestrator Settings with

Status: Error connecting to robot service

is this a common behaviour? many thanks, maurizio
